15 March 2023 I Love Italian Food is pleased to announce the return in 2023 of The Italian Show, the Made in Italy events for international Ho.Re.Ca., with the first French event in Paris next 17 April.

After the success of the British and German editions, The Italian Show has become an opportunity to tell the story of Italian excellence together with the key players of out of home abroad.

A single day all about authentic Italian F&B, with three main objectives: educating, tasting, promoting. The Hotel Du Collectionneur (address) will host the event from 11.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m., aimed exclusively at professionals of the sector.

Many protagonists will animate this first French edition of The Italian Show.  On stage, in fact, some of the most important chefs and restaurateurs representing Made in Italy in France, and not only, will perform with talks and show cooking. Among them: Massimo Tringali, Executive Chef of Armani Ristorante; Filippo Saporito, Michelin-starred chef of the restaurant La Leggenda dei Frati in Florence and President of the Jeunes Restaurateurs d’Europe Italia Association; Massimo Mori, an institution of Italian cuisine in Paris.

The performances will continue throughout the day in the Tasting Station, where the Chefs will cook and offer tastings of authentic Made in Italy products; in the Enoteca, dedicated to the presentation of new trends in Italian wine and wine tasting; and in the Bar Station, where bar tenders will create original cocktails with performances from the world of mixology.

But the great novelty of this edition of The Italian Show will be the Pizza Show, an area entirely dedicated to storytelling and education in the world of pizza, with guests who will take the stage at the Pizza Show: from world champion Peppe Cutraro, who has made France his second home, to Guillaume Grasso, a young and enthusiastic pizza maker who professes the true Neapolitan pizza; to Nicola Iovine, an established pizza maker in Paris. This is a great opportunity for all operators of the out-of-home sector in France to meet some of the leading chefs and pizza makers representing our culture in the world, but also to come into contact with Italian food & wine excellence, in the exhibition area of The Italian Show.

Finally, the event will host the final of the culinary competition that will award The Best Upcoming Chef of Italian Cuisine in France. The six finalist chefs will compete on the stage of The Italian Show and try their hand at preparing an Italian dish of original creation. The winner will be decreed by a jury of chefs known on the French scene and beyond, chaired by Chef Agostino Coppola, President of the Association of Italian Chefs in France.

“We are very excited to bring The Italian Show to France for the first time. The French market represents the second largest market for the export of Italian products, but at the same time it is a market on which there is a lot of work to be done to assert the authentic Made in Italy in the catering world. We want The Italian Show to represent an excellent opportunity for both producers of Italian supply chains and users of our excellence operating in France,’ says Alessandro Schiatti, CEO and co-founder of I Love Italian Food.

The event is reserved exclusively for professionals and the press, who can register free of charge online and on site. For more information and registration: https://iloveitalianfood.it/project/the-italian-show-paris-2023/
