INGREDIENTS PER 2 PEOPLE
trofie (typical Italian shape of pasta), 5 oz
pesto, 4 tbsps
white potatoes, 2
a dozen of trimmed and crosswise halved string beans
grated Parmigiano Reggiano cheese
Pour green beans to the boiled salted water in a large pot. Cook for 15 minutes and drain. Peel and cut potatoes into small pieces and put them in the same water. Bring to a boil. After 5 minutes, add trofie and cook until al dente.
Drain pasta and potatoes and mix pesto in a large skillet with a tablespoon of cooking water.
Add pasta and green beans and stir gently. Sprinkle with Parmigiano Reggiano.
