mother yeast, the natural leavening dough, 7 oz
flour, 24,7 oz
softened butter, 3,5 oz
eggs, 3
egg yolk, 1
egg white, 1
low fat milk, 1,7 fl. oz
sugar, 1/2 cups
honey, 1 tee tablespoon
chopped nuts, 1,7 oz
chopped almonds, 1,7 oz
raisin, 1 oz
candied fruit, 1,4 oz
icing sugar


Mix soft butter with eggs, the egg yolk, yeast, sugar and honey.
Knead well then add flour and the low fat milk.
Add raisins and candied fruit.
Put the dough in a bowl, cover with a plastic wrap and let it leaven in a warm place for
10-12 hours.
Cut the dough into two parts and, immediately after, cut the 2 doughts into a star shape. The
easiest way is to bake cakes in two star-shaped baking trays.
Mix white egg with chopped nuts and almonds and use the mixture to decorate the two
cakes surface.
Bake the two Nadalin in the pre-heated oven at 200 degrees for 35 minutes.
