INGREDIENTS PER 3 PEOPLE

Codfish, 14 oz.
All purpose flour, 5,6 oz.
Cold beer, 7,4 fl. oz.
Yolk, 1
Salt, 0,03 oz.
Peanut oil, 78 fl. oz.

PROCEDURE

Rinse codfish, put it in a large bowl and leave under running water for at least 24 hours. Drain it accurately.
In a bowl, mix together the yolk, salt and flour, pour in the beer little by little, stirring until the pastry gets homogeneous.
Preheat the oil at 356 °F.
Flour the codfish, dip it in the pastry and fry for 8 minutes.
Serve immediately.
