“Tutta un’altra pasta” told the personal experience of Marcello Ferrarini, chef with the celiac disease who think that the celiac disease is no more faced as an illness but as a new opportunity.

My jeans regularly ended up in the washing machine with Maalox in the pocket, my mother got bored and one day told me “I’ll bring you to the gastroenterologist”. Here is the diagnosis: celiac disease. Mothers, you know, are always right. A new revolution starts, a new aware life.”
Marcello Ferrarini thus becomes a chef specialized in gluten free cuisine, the only one to have the celiac disease himself. In this book you can find his amazing recipes for a gluten free diet, without renouncing to the taste: starters, fresh and dry pasta, alternative risotti and meals prepared using gluten free beers, then passing through pseudo-cereals, baking products and flours naturally without gluten, ending with sweets and desserts. And the suggestions for dinners with friends, holidays and all the little big daily issues that only the ones who have the celiac disease know.
Marcello Ferrarini is a chef from Modena professionally specialized in the gluten-free cuisine, with the celiac disease and AIC – Associazione Italiana Celiachia – member.
After different and significant experiences in the field of food service, he now teaches in prestigious professional schools and he collaborates with important brands like “DE’ LONGHI-KENWOOD”, “KITCHEN AID”, “CUSINART”, “RISOLI” as well as with companies of the same field like “TENNENT’S”, “BIALIMENTA-FARABELLA”, “ACETAIA DUE VITTORIE” and “PEDON”, for which he works as expert advice and realizes show cookings, events and courses. He writes recipes and thematic editorials for “Celiachia Oggi”, “Free – L’arte di vivere senza glutine”, “Gambero Rosso Magazine” and “Il Cuoco”, official FIC – Federazione Italiana Cuochi – magazine.
He hosts the program “SENZA GLUTINE CON GUSTO” on Gambero Rosso Channel – SKY 412, the first and only tv program entirely dedicated to the gluten-free cuisine.
