Organized by <b>I Love Italian Food<\/b> in collaboration with the <b>Federazione Italiana Cuochi UK<\/b>, the event brought together professionals from the food &amp; beverage industry and champions of authentic Made in Italy.<br \/>Set in the elegant <b>Royal Horticultural Halls<\/b> in Westminster, the day welcomed hundreds of British and international operators for a full immersion into Italian culinary culture, through masterclasses, talks, and tastings.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The event opened with the traditional <b>ribbon-cutting ceremony<\/b>, attended by representatives from the <b>Embassy of Italy in London<\/b>, the <b>Italian Trade Agency (ITA)<\/b>, and the <b>Consulate General of Italy in London<\/b>, who greeted the audience and emphasized the importance of initiatives like The Italian Show in promoting the Italian agri-food sector in the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Right after the official opening, the spotlight turned to the <b>Tasting Show<\/b>, where <b>Chef Carmelo Carnevale<\/b>, President of the <b>Italian Culinary Consortium<\/b>, kicked off the program with a masterclass dedicated to <b>Gorgonzola DOP<\/b>, showing how creativity can elevate one of Italy\u2019s most iconic products. He was followed by <b>Chef Cristina Bowerman<\/b>, Michelin-starred at Glass Hostaria in Rome, who shared her vision of <b>contemporary Italian cuisine<\/b>, highlighting flexibility and innovation as essential tools for today\u2019s restaurateurs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">In the afternoon, <b>Chef Gennaro Esposito<\/b>, two Michelin stars at La Torre del Saracino, led guests on a flavorful journey celebrating the <b>Italian tomato<\/b>, in collaboration with <b>Ciao \u2013 Il Pomodoro di Napoli<\/b>. Later, the <b>Cuochi Contadini<\/b> of <b>Campagna Amica<\/b> showcased their dishes inspired by rural Italian traditions, while <b>Filippo La Gattuta<\/b>, Executive Chef at <b>Big Mamma UK<\/b>, closed the cooking demos with an engaging lesson on the art of pasta, focusing on the bicolor raviolo as a symbol of creativity and craftsmanship.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The <b>Pizza Show<\/b> also drew large crowds, featuring an outstanding lineup of some of the world\u2019s top Italian pizzaioli: from <b>Peppe Cutraro<\/b>, world champion of contemporary pizza and a symbol of Italian success in Paris, to <b>Diego Vitagliano<\/b>, who brought to London the authentic flavors of the <b>Campi Flegrei<\/b>. <b>Davide Civitiello<\/b> revealed the secrets behind crafting the perfect <b>gluten-free pizza<\/b>, while <b>Lorenzo Floris<\/b> (Rudy\u2019s) celebrated the <b>true Neapolitan pizza<\/b> and its timeless identity. Among the most original performances was <b>Roberto Vitale<\/b> (Pizza Chef at <b>A\u2019Do\u2019RE\u2019 fritto<\/b>), who showcased how pizza dough can become a tool for creativity and innovation with his <b>fried pizza shaped like a bab\u00e0<\/b>, blending technique and tradition in a contemporary key. To conclude the program, <b>Antonino Stillitano<\/b> (Calabrisella, Cardiff) brought a touch of innovation with his <b>bergamot-infused dough<\/b>, paying homage to Calabria and embodying a modern vision rooted in authenticity.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">On the <b>Talks Stage<\/b>, moderated by journalist <b>Rosita Dagh<\/b> of <b>London One Radio<\/b>, industry experts and professionals discussed the latest trends in the British market. Panels covered a wide range of topics, from the connection between <b>food and culinary tourism<\/b>\u2014with insights from <b>Carmelo Troccoli<\/b>, <b>Enrico Soresini<\/b>, and <b>Micaela Giacobbe<\/b>\u2014to the <b>rise of Italian pizza chains in the UK<\/b>, featuring <b>Enrico Pireddu<\/b>, <b>Salvatore Aloe<\/b>, and <b>David Tester<\/b>. In the afternoon, <b>Antimo Caputo<\/b>, <b>Maurizio Cecco<\/b>, and <b>Luigi Carnevale<\/b> explored the role of flavor as a cultural bridge between Italy and the UK, while the final session\u2014with <b>Giorgio Locatelli<\/b>, <b>Enzo Oliveri<\/b>, <b>Maurizio Fazzari<\/b>, and <b>David Foskett<\/b>\u2014offered an in-depth reflection on the evolution of <b>Italian hospitality in the United Kingdom<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Once again, <b>The Italian Show London 2025<\/b> proved to be a key meeting point between international professionals and Italian supply chains, a platform where education, culture, and business converge to promote the quality and authenticity of Made in Italy.
