INGREDIENTS PER 2 PEOPLE

butter, 1 large knob
parsley, a few chopped sprigs
salt
carrots,2 large
granulated sugar, 1 tbsp
pepper

PROCEDURE

After having peeled the carrots, slice them in diagonal 2 cm pieces and boil them in lightly salted water for around ten minutes. Melt the butter a frying pan and when hot and bubbly add the carrots. Stir them in order to coat well in butter. Add the sugar, a pinch of salt and toss the carrots for a couple of minutes until all of the flavours are well combined. Sprinkle with parsley, season with freshly milled black pepper and serve.
