The Unaprol press conference “All the real Italian oil“, in view of Tuttofood, took place some days ago at Palazzo Pirelli.
Also for this TuttoFOOD edition, UNAPROL will bring the best of the Italian oil production and will try to revamp the best Italian product’s image: the olive oil.
It will be a big challange for UNAPROL: indeed Italy spent more money for the import, compared with the investments related to the production; the exportation, although registering a +6% in respect to the last year, had a negative closing and the trade balance registered a 151 million euros negative balance.
These data made Unaprol decide to dedicate a “Country focus” to some markets, related to the oil exportation: “The companies need these kind of information to be able to deal with markets and to meet the real Made in Italy demand that comes from these markets that have an high purchasing power” Pietro Sandali, Unaprol general manager, said.
During TUTTOFOOD, Unaprol will start an “Extra virgin school” in their pavilions: an area equipped for tastings, in-depth meetings on specific themes, like the one entirely dedicated to the buyers about the quality of the Italian extra virgin olive oil, organized in partnership with Fiera Milano.
Inside the same Unaprol area, FEDERDOP OLIO too will present its own quality offer for extra virgin olive oils: indeed, our Country is commended for an unquestionable worlwide patrimony for the possibility to get oils with different savors and aromas that identify the clear bond with the territory, for the 43 Denominations of origin, for the 176 thousands hectared invested in the organic and for much more.
We wish these activities will help to affirm the real Italian oil, even beyond the national boundaries.
