The Event<\/h1>\n

For the first time, the UK Sommelier Association<\/strong>, I Love Italian Food<\/strong> and the Federazione Italiana Cuochi UK<\/strong> are joining forces to create an event that becomes the reference point for Food & Beverage professionals in the UK.<\/p>\n

Two competitions<\/strong> will take place on stage. The UK Sommelier Association is once again presenting the Best UK Sommelier – Villa Sandi Award<\/strong> competition, featuring a series of challenges between the best sommeliers in the UK. The sommeliers, judged by a panel of well-known faces in the industry such as journalists, Master of Wine, Master Sommelier, etc., will compete to win the title. In the evening, The UK Sommelier Association will also take the stage for its annual\u00a0Graduation Ceremony.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The second competition will be held by the Federazione Italiana Cuochi UK, who is pleased to announce the first edition of The Best Chef of Italian Cuisine – Parmigiano Reggiano Award<\/strong>.
On stage six pre-selected chefs will have one hour to prepare a ‚main course‘ with at least 5 elements. At the end of the hour, a jury of top chefs of Italian cuisine will taste and vote on the dishes prepared by the contestants and decide the winner of the competition.<\/p>\n

In addition, there will be a Walk-around Exhibition<\/strong> area, where visitors can get in touch with F&B producers and consortia of protection, taste the products and network. <\/p>\n

Educating, Tasting and Promoting<\/strong> are the key words of The Italian Show<\/strong>. Therefore, during the day\u00a0it will also be possible to take part in wine Masterclasses <\/strong>guided by the UK Sommelier Association, Cooking Classes<\/strong> on Italian products with the finest local chefs of Italian cuisine and Mixology Classes<\/strong> in the dedicated Tasting Lounge<\/strong> area.\u00a0<\/p>\n
